All Weymouth windsurfers are invited to drag out their old kit and partake in the ‘just for fun’ Retro Regatta and BBQ down at the OTC this Saturday. Tris will be running a series of fun races and maybe an old school longboard freestyle comp. This is also a great opportunity to get Weymouth’s ‘retired’ windsurfers back on the water. We all know people with a few old boards in their garages which haven’t been taken out since Wham were in the charts. The day also give the opportunity to rub shoulders with the world’s sailing elite. Saturday is Medal Race day for Sail for Gold Regatta. WPNSA will be running a spectator RIB with the aim of taking young locals out onto the water to get up close to the action. Please register quickly on the Skandia Sail For Gold website for their Spectator Day.
